Fucking hell. the turpsed-up Polish cuckold can't even comment on an innocent thread, that's all about opinions, without getting confrontational. Embarrassing.

I wasn't in Ponta Delgada, we went to Terceira, a smaller island. I didn't spend much time in the bar to be honest, so maybe there were other beers, but I only saw those two at the hotel or restaurants we went to.

The beer to drink in the Azores is Especial from the Melo Abreu brewery in Ponta Delgada. Are you sure you’ve been there on holiday, Saddo?

Dicko
Had a holiday in the Azores this year, so it was Superbock or Sagres pretty much everywhere. Took me a few days to get used to it, wouldn't miss it if I never had one again. Definitely going back to the Azores though.

There are hundreds of single malt whiskies from intense smokey bacon to honeyed heather flavours. Like chalk and cheese. I mean you could say a Highland Single malt or an Islay single malt but even then you are dealing with many different taste profiles.

You don't like Highland Park?
I love its balance and subtleness.
The other two grab you by the bollocks and swing you around violently.

I shall certainly miss many of the English real ales when I decamp finally to Thailand, at which point I shall almost certainly STOP drinking on account of the fact that I have the willpower to do so, and won't be putting up any - feeble or otherwise - excuse to neck a few units.
